This is an excellent CD if you're into orchestrations of pop or rock music. Andrew Powell And The Philharmonic Orchestra do justice to some of The Alan Parsons Project's most recognizable songs, and did this before this became 'de rigeur' in the late 80's through now. Before Metallica, The Scorpions, Kiss, Yngwie, Pink Floyd, or Rush did this, The Alan Parsons Project led the way. My only complaint is that the mastering/recording sounds a bit polite and 'laid back', often lacking in dynamics as a Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab recording should have! Listening to the impeccably remastered 'I Robot', for example, and this disc, is a 'night and day' difference in dynamic range and forwardness in sound.By CQ DX, amazon
