Abraham Cupeiro & Orquesta Real Filharmonía de Galicia - Os Sons Esquecidos (2017)

The instruments of the past came to life in the Plaza de Santa María with 'Os Sons Esquecidos' by Abraham Cupeiro. The reconstruction of the karnyx, ancient Roman instrument, was raised on the ground to accompany more modern melodies. The Galician reconstructs already extinct or almost forgotten instruments to give them a second chance with new scores and possibilities. This project is the result of a multidisciplinary combination of archeology, research and interpretation.
