Alive is the 1999 single by the Beastie Boys. It was released on 23 February, 1999 in support of their Grand Royal/Capitol compilation album Beastie Boys Anthology: The Sounds of Science.. This gathers two CD5's released in the UK, which feature a remix of the title track, a non-LP song called "You + Me together" and covers of Billy Joel's "Big Shot". and The Jam's "Start!" The FLAC versions also feature enhanced portions on the discs, featuring videos of "Alive" and "Start!". The "extras" are not in the MP3 version.
