340 Blues is the debut CD from Sugar Queen and the Straight Blues Band. Michele Denise (Sugar Queen) is an American blues singer who has collaborated with musicians from Belgium and the Netherlands to form the Straight Blues Band. Though the band started in 2016, they have quickly performed at some of the well-noted blues festivals.
340 Blues has passion and grit. Composed and written by the band, the CD is a versatile journey which includes gut wrenching Chicago blues, swing, swaggering grooves and a soulful selection.
