Overkill — американская трэш-метал-группа, основанная в 1980 году в Нью-Джерси. Состав группы претерпел неоднократные изменения, и единственными неизменными участниками Overkill с момента основания остаются вокалист Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth и басист D.D. Verni. Их новый, пятнадцатый по счёту, студийный альбом получил название "Ironbound". Весь материал традиционно написан тандемом Ellsworth/Verni, записан по большей части в родных стенах нью-джерсийской студии и спродюссирован силами самих музыкантов. Также, в сведении альбома принял участие Питер Тагтгрен, лидер группы Hypocrisy. Европейский релиз альбома назначен на 29 января, и будет доступен в следущих вариантах: Обычный CD / Ограниченная версия альбома (в виде представленого здесь диджипака) / и на виниле (плюс лимитированный зелёный винил только для подписчиков Nuclear Blast). В Америке диск появится в продаже только к 9-му февраля. О планах отечественных бутлегеров пока ничего неизвестно.
