Not entirely content with being a 1950s R&B star on the strength of his immortal New Orleans classic "Lawdy Miss Clawdy," singer Lloyd Price yearned for massive pop acceptance. He found it, too, with a storming rock & roll reading of the ancient blues "Stagger Lee" and the unabashedly pop-slanted "Personality" and "I'm Gonna Get Married" (the latter pair sounding far removed indeed from his Crescent City beginnings).

Here is another one of my many cheap cds. This is a 1990 reissue of a 1982 release. Short tracklist and no liner notes. Insert scans included. At least these are the original recordings. I have no complaints about this cd other than the length.
This cd has a dr rating of 14 as an image. In the tracks mode it rated 13. It also showed high in AudioChecker. I was pleasantly surprised since these recordings are so old.
NOTE: I uploaded this twice to FileServe several hours ago and still I have no links. If the links show up I will put them in the linklist. I will not reupload them again. This is a common problem with FileServe.
