Born in Cleveland, Ohio, I come from a very musical family. My Aunt was a classical singer with the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus and the Robert Shaw Chorale; and my grandmother played the mandolin for 40 years. My father performed in musical theater and sang in barbershop quartets. It was through his love of harmony singing that I developed my keen sense of music.
