ESPERANZA FERNANDEZ is currently one of the leading voices of flamenco.
In its excellent faculty, and proven in countless concerts, we must add his extensive repertoire - from the dramatic to the most canasteros- siguiriya tangos and its versatility to lend their voice to very different musical aesthetics. On his new album he sings and makes music to poetry and prose literature Nobel, the Portuguese Jose Saramago. With the musical direction of pianist and composer David Dorantes and collaboration of renowned composers such as José Miguel Évora and Luis Pastor, besides their Dorantes. "It often happens that poetry is born to be read silently, perhaps pausing unmarked in the poem though required by the sensitivity of the reader compelled to close their eyes or look at infinity of a wall or landscape that opens under the brushstrokes of a painting. the poetry is whimsical, sometimes strengthens the soul, others are determined to measure the human dimension or consistency of dreams. some rarely, and this is the case, demand a voice put it in the air . Esperanza Fernandez picked up the challenge to write launched José Saramago and, with great artists, he recorded with flamenco voice deeper soft poems by Portuguese writer. the harmony was possible and now we know that Jose Saramago flamenco sounds in both puck and beat Esperanza Fernandez grows as a poet singing a happy album to hear and read poetry.. closing her eyes, staring into space from a wall or landscape that opens under the strokes of a painting Esperanza Fernández and José Saramago, an unexpected duet that banishes shadows and puts beauty in the land of all our inner earth."
