Antonio Pinto - The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) (2019)

Antonio Pinto (City of God, McFarland, USA, Lord of War, Self/less) has recently composed the music for the upcoming drama The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind. The film marks the feature directorial debut of actor Chiwetel Ejiofor who also stars in the movie alongside Maxwell Simba, Aïssa Maïga, Lily Banda, Lemogang Tsipa, Philbert Falakeza, Joseph Marcell and Noma Dumezweni. The movie is based on the book of the same title written by William Kamkwamba & Bryan Mealer and tells the story of a 13-year-old boy who helps his village by building a wind turbine after reading about them in a library book. Ejifor also wrote the screenplay. Andrea Calderwood (The Last King of Scotland) and Gail Egan (A Most Wanted Man) are producing the Participant Media and BBC Films production. The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind will premiere in 2019 in most markets exclusively on Netflix.
