NOVA-SPES was formed in 1999 by Matthias Hübner, Steffen Poehler and André Richter.
In 2011 the band was signed by Bruno Kramm and his Label DANSE MACABRE.
From the beginning the Nova-Spes was a pure electro-project but with much different influences.
André Richter left the band in 2003 and 15 years later Steffen Poehler done it too. Peter Walther join the band in 2003, Maik Männel in 2016.
Since 2011 the band entered the German Electronic Webcharts (gewc) with every release in 2016 NOVA-SPES entered the DAC up to position 2 for the first time.
