Miriam Yeung displays two contrasting music styles in her 11th release, which includes the EPs Play It Loud and Kiss Me Soft. The carefree Kiss Me Soft includes "If Tokyo Isn't Happy" and "The Girl's Prayer," while the Play It Loud tracklist features uptempo rock jams such as "There's a Bad Girl" and "Fireworks."
《Play It Loud, Kiss Me Soft》是楊千嬅於華星唱片推出的第四張個人粵語EP，於2000年9月推出。這亦是她在華星唱片最後一張推出的錄音室專輯，主打歌曲《少女的祈禱》更為楊千嬅帶來多個歌曲獎項。
此專輯實為《Kiss Me Soft》和《Play It Loud》兩張EP合二為一，前者以輕快慢歌作賣點，後者則以搖滾快歌作賣點。唱片共推出了三個版本，第一版是純粹兩張專輯合為同一包裝推出，有一個紙套；第二版則沒有紙套，但隨碟附送《可人兒》及《少女的祈禱》的MV；第三版則把兩張EP拆散推出，而唱片封套亦與前兩個版本不相同，亦加收了MV和歌曲。
