Solo album from frequent De-Phazz collaborator, produced by De-Phazz himself. Instead of his regular swingin' jazz style, De-Phazz opts for a more moody atmosphere. Barbara Lahr's vocal delivery is the standout, though – very Weimar-era cabaret. Several of the songs were inspired by famous poets – William Blake, Sylvia Plath, William Carlos Williams – which elevates the lyrics above typically insipid sentiments.
