Formed in 2008 this Portland, Oregon band blend the sounds of early 80's death metal with early 80's thrash to create something that sounds fresh and frightening. Following a 2009 demo and 2010 EP the group hit the studio in December of 2010 to record this their full length debut. What a debut it is to! The easiest way to describe this one would be a heavier and faster Kreator as seen through the eyes of early Possessed/Death. Throw in some Destruction for good measure and you have a band that is heavy as hell and twice as wicked. 2011 looks to be a good year for thrash thanks to Excruciator.
