Eric Benét is a contemporary R&B singer with mild hip-hop and strong adult contemporary influences. As a teenager, he performed in a family vocal group (appropriately named Benét) with his sister and cousin. The group signed with Capitol Records and released an eponymous album in 1992 that largely went unnoticed. Bestowing his love for the international #EB fanbase, Eric Benet extends his gratitude further to Japan with a new covers album appropriately titled “From E to U: Volume I.” A covers album exclusively for the “land of the rising sun,” Eric Benet puts a new spin on classic records with an EB feel featuring hit records “Open Arms,” “Through The Fire” and “Almost Paradise” with Ailee.
