Ivory Castanets is Cat Clyde's debut album which includes her hit single, Mama Said. The stand out track has taken off on all streaming platforms. It has landed a few major syncs, one being with The World Surf League where the video has been viewed over 1.7 million times. The song has also been featured on the Pigeons & Planes-Best Song of The Week list.
Cat Clyde’s “Mama Said” has also recently been added to British Airways “Ones to Watch” playlist. This playlist consists of twenty tracks and will be made available on every British Airways flight through 2017, as of January 2017. The playlist will be promoted by British Airways on the inflight media screens, available to every passenger. They estimate the playlist to be seen by one million passengers every month and it will also be promoted through their inflight magazines, and on their website.
Ronda Chollock at Insubordinate Media has serviced Mama Said to Non-Com AAA at the same time Michelle Feghali at The Syndicate serviced it to College Radio. We will be servicing the physical full lengths immediately following SXSW.
Cat will be featured as an official SXSW artist this year and has a handful of showcases. Following SXSW she will be the direct support act for SUSTO on their West Coast tour. Cat will also be playing at Canadian Music Week and Norman Music Festival in Norman, OK.
