Blackmore's Rainbow - Ave Maria (2CD) (2010) {Tarantura} **[RE-UP]**

Ave Maria is a 2CD bootleg by Blackmore's Rainbow, released by the Tarantura label. It consists of an excellent audience recording done live at the Hiroshima-shi Auditorium in Hiroshima, Japan on 14 December, 1976, when Ronnie James Dio was their lead vocalist. The band at the time also featured Cozy Powell, Tony Carey, Jimmy Bain and of course, Ritchie Blackmore. The interesting part of this CD is that elements of each song is individually indexed so if a song has a solo or moves into a classical movement, it has its own track to select. This is why "Man On The Silver Mountain" is indexed over five tracks, but the entire concert is here. The group were on tour in support of their second album, Rising (or Rainbow Rising.)
