Originally released in 1974, Pinball marked the debut of actor-turned-singer-songwriter Brian Protheroe. Fusing baroque pop, soft rock, and the wry introspection of early '70s singer-songwriters, the album earned critical acclaim and cult devotion, largely on the strength of its title track – the haunting, theatrical ballad 'Pinball' – a UK Top 30 hit that remains one of the decade's most singular singles.

When Philip Glass was asked to compose incidental music for a Broadway production of King Lear in 2019, he immediately knew he wanted to write for string quartet: “I know how to write for string quartet. I love its range of emotion.” Indeed, this concert version of the play’s score is his ninth work for string quartet, a medium he employs to great effect to depict the tumult, violence, and despair at the heart of Shakespeare’s classic tragedy.

Live On Tour was recorded at the Agora in Cleveland on December 18, 1978 and published as promo LP for radio broadcast in 1979. Recorded on the More Songs About Buildings and Food tour, the promo release was never officially released for the public. This is the first official release of the full show, fully remastered from the original analogue tapes and features one previously unreleased track.

Giovanni Paolo Cima (1570–1630) was an Italian composer, organist, and violinist active during the transition from the Renaissance to the early Baroque period. He served as the music director at the church of Santa Maria presso San Celso in Milan, where he played a significant role in shaping the musical life of the city. Cima was part of a generation of Northern Italian composers who began experimenting with the emerging stylistic innovations of the early 17th century, particularly in instrumental music.

“Ephemeral Memory” marks the debut album from hip-hop producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Braths – also known as Thomas Horeczko – on Sony Music. Best known for his work with some of Europe’s most successful hip-hop artists such as Apache 207, reezy, Nimo, Olexesh, Chapo102 and Ezhel, Braths now presents his own instrumental compositions. The album blends solo piano miniatures with layered string textures and melancholic orchestral arrangements to create a distinctive, atmospheric sound world. Many of the instruments were performed by Braths himself, with special guest appearances from violinist Esther Abrami and the ORF Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra.

Over the years, I collected pieces that evoked the same hypnotic effect, creating a musical diary spanning from 2017 to 2024. Blending classical works with my own improvisations, this album reflects the fluid and mysterious nature of memory—how it shifts, distorts, and intertwines with imagination. Each piece is a portal to different moments in time, forming a dreamlike tapestry where past, future, and the imaginary merge into one.
