The Swiss organist Albert Bolliger graduated from the Conservatoire de Zurich, and then studied for three years in Paris with André Marchal, Madeleine Valmalète and Andrée-Honegger Vaurabourg. His career as a concert organist led him on to on five continents. He played more than 800 concerts, especially in the major concert halls of the Soviet Union, Mexico, Korea and Spain. The recording features music by "old Danish kingdom" composers like Nicolaus Bruhns, Ewaldt Hintz, Johann Lorentz, Matthias Weckmann, Martin Radeck, Johann Rudolf radeck, Christian Geist, Franz Tunder and Dietrich Buxtehude.
