The multi-talented Juan Garcia Esquivel was a triple threat in music history as a composer, arranger and pianist. He released his most celebrated work in 1962, "More of Other Worlds, Other Sounds". The recording flourished with orchestral flair, eccentric arrangements, a booming horn section and widely unique vocal effects. With relentless energy, this exotic effort opens with the bullfighting inspired track, “The Breeze and I (Andalucia)”. The album enjoyed commercial success, as various tracks have appeared in both television programs and motion picture soundtracks. For those unfamiliar with his work, this is a definitive recording.

Bruno Heinen is a contemporary improvising pianist, composer, researcher and educator whose London base is a springboard to his adopted second country in Italy, where he has made strong musical relationships with players like Antonio Fusco and Fulvio Sigurta. "Mr. Vertigo" is his sixth album under his own name on the Babel Label.

The Palm Beach Band Boys was studio recording group ostensibly assembled by RCA Victor to capitalize on the success of The New Vaudeville Band's hit single, "Winchester Cathedral". They performed in a style for which the New Vaudeville Band's promoters coined the term, newstalgia, a kind of faux 1920s/1930s sound, featuring nasal vocals, banjo, brass, electric guitar, rock drums, and bassoon. According to a December 1966 TIME article, the vocalist is actually "an RCA executive who croons while holding his nose". Their first LP, "Winchester Cathedral", recorded in RCA Victor's Studios A and B in New York City was released in 1966. It featured arrangements by Billy Mure and was produced by Danny Davis.
