Two of John Pizzarelli's greatest influences, Frank Sinatra and the bossa nova composer Antonio Carlos Jobim, joined forces in 1967 to present a softer, sultrier side of Sinatra on the heels of 'That's Life' and 'Strangers in the Night'. Half a century later, John Pizzarelli is celebrating that unique gathering with his Concord Jazz release "Sinatra & Jobim @ 50".

American composer Leroy Anderson was known for his lighthearted orchestral music; many of his most popular and famous pieces are included on this archival recording from the Eastman-Rochester "Pops" Orchestra and a British orchestra, both led by Frederick Fennell. The majority of these works were recorded in Rochester, New York in March 1958 and October 1956; the London session dates back to July 1964. All performances remain highly appreciated and illuminating.

This Billie Holiday album was recorded in March 1959 and released four months later, in July 1959, the same month Holiday died; after her death the album was renamed "Last Recording". Al Cohn on tenor sax and Milt Hinton on bass are among the several notable session musicians in Ray Ellis's Orchestra which provides horn-driven accompaniment on most of this material.

"Love Is a Gentle Thing" is an album by Harry Belafonte, released by RCA Victor in 1959. It was recorded with arranger / conductors Alan Greene and Bob Corman. The featuring a set of folk-themed songs. Billboard magazine chose Love Is a Gentle Thing as one of their "Spotlight Winners of the Week" in March 1959, and wrote that "Belafonte displays his usual tender, feelingful vocal style on a group of expressive folk themes with varying moods".

Crafting seductive R&B, Indie Pop that homes in on the simplest and most mysterious aspects of desire, Nantes, France's HER is the project of Simon Carpentier and Victor Solf. The pair met in high school, where Solf, a German native, was in choir and played classical piano and Carpentier played saxophone. Prior to forming HER, they played in another group that achieved some success in Europe before disbanding. Solf and Carpentier then took their music in a very different direction, borrowing inspiration from sounds ranging from Motown to Kendrick Lamar. After several EPs (Tape and Tape Live), HER released their first full-lenght self-titled studio album, which includes their classics: Swim, Union, Quite Like and Five Minutes, as well some new titles, including a collaboration with Belgium's Hip-Hop sensation Romeo Elvis.

Following its release, the album debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart. In 2012 it was awarded a double gold certification from the Independent Music Companies Association.

My Romance is Jacob Fischer's fifth album as a leader, and his debut from the Japanese label Venus Records, is an ambitious project: A tribute to Bill Evans with a simple trio with Martin Wind on bass and Tim Horner on drums. Danish native Jacob Fischer is a rising star and one of the most in-demand jazz guitarists in Europe. Born in 1967, the self-taught guitarist began working as a professional when he was 17 years old, and since then has participated in more than 200 recordings. Fischer impressed with his debut from the Japanese label Venus Records, a Bill Evans tribute album with a simple trio with bass and drums. Now, he has shown a completely different side with his second release Black Orpheus, playing Brazilian music with acoustic guitar. His authentic feel comes from his experience of traveling and performing throughout Brazil, and support of the great Brazilian drummer Duduka DaFonseca.

Engines of Creation is the eighth studio album by guitarist Joe Satriani. The album reached No. 90 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and remained on that chart for three weeks, as well as reaching the top 100 in three other countries. "Until We Say Goodbye" was released as a single and received a nomination for Best Rock Instrumental Performance at the 2001 Grammy Awards.

Nat King Cole was a pretty fair jazz piano player, but it was his rich, warm, and smoothly elegant vocal style that made him into an icon. The standard single-disc edition contains 22 classic Cole performances, while this two-CD Deluxe edition adds 14 rare and/or previously unreleased tracks, including four never-before-heard vintage songs and previously unissued alternate takes of the Cole standards "Straighten Up And Fly Right", "Unforgettable", Mona Lisa", "The Christmas Song", and "(I Love You) For Sentimental Reasons" taken from the Nat King Cole Story sessions. Also featured are "Ain't She Sweet" and "What to Do", recorded in 1954, both of which find Cole trading vocals with his daughters Carole and Natalie, whose cross-generational 1991 duet version of "Unforgettable" helped to introduce her father to a new generation of listeners.
