With special guest Jem Cassar-Daley One of Australia’s most celebrated singer-songwriters, Bernard Fanning, will mark a major milestone with a one-night-only performance on Friday, 31 October 2025, celebrating 20 years since the release of his critically acclaimed debut solo album, Tea & Sympathy. Originally released on 31 October 2005, Tea & Sympathy debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, won three ARIA Awards including Album of the Year, and earned Fanning APRA’s Songwriter of the Year Award in 2006. Featuring tracks like “Wish You Well”, “Songbird”, “Watch Over Me” and “Thrill is Gone”, the album established Fanning as a powerhouse solo artist alongside his success with Powderfinger.

Tomorrow, October 31st, marks the re-release of Earthling's iconic Trip Hop album "RADAR," timed to celebrate its 30th anniversary. Issued by Chrysalis Records, the album is a seminal work of the Bristol Sound that emerged in the early '90s. "Radar," originally released in 1995, despite its cult following among genre enthusiasts, remains one of the most underrated albums in Trip Hop, having never achieved broad commercial success. The Bristol-based band Earthling comprised producer Tim Saul and rapper Mau. Multi-instrumentalist Andy "Edison" Keep and Portishead's Geoff Barrow, who contributed scratches, also participated in the album's creation. The re-release is a remastered version featuring new cover art by artist Mark Murphy, offering fans of the genre an opportunity to discover and rediscover this important album from Trip Hop's golden age.

Following two acclaimed experimental instrumental records in Feral Hymns (2021) and Acts of Light (2023), Hilary Woods returns on her new LP Night CRIÚ, out October 31st, to song form and most notably, to her voice. Crafting songs centered around it, Night CRIÚ’s intimate ecosystem of seven songs uses layers of vocal harmony and lyrics as ways to re-enter the body, and to speak to and uproot old scripts. A ceremony of light and shade, Night CRIÚ’s unmoored sonic threads recall the cracks, fringes, forgotten agency and dormant personas that surface at night, waiting to be retrieved and integrated come daylight. Despite its economy, each song on Night CRIÚ breathes into an emotive expanse quintessential of Woods’s compositions, and true to her artistry, a search for new direction is ever present, expressed most keenly here in her writing for brass band and children’s choir.

For us Night Dreamer has several symbolic meanings, including unlimited possibilities , unimaginable expectations & paradoxical dreams. As musicians we live a great part of our life’s at night, in the darkest hour. (As so many of us;)This reflects in our music & compositions, as well in the beautiful cover artwork by Michael Cheval. Keep some room in your heart for the unimaginable, and you might get surprised by the Unexpected. A nice phrase a friend sent some years ago as a New Years wish. Kept always resonating in my mind. As a trio we had so much fun and joy while recording this album. Therefore, we hope to spread that positive energy, whenever you hear us playing live, or while listening to our album.

"Johnny Come Home" is a song by British band Fine Young Cannibals, released as the first single from their debut album, Fine Young Cannibals (1985). It is similar to the style of many other of the band's hits, a mixture of rock and ska with Roland Gift's distinctive vocals, as well as a jazz-type trumpet solo. It was released in May 1985 by London Records and was one of the group's most popular hits. The song tells the gritty realistic story of a runaway youth, and alternates from the first-person narrative, explaining how his arrival in the big city has not turned out as he expected, to the view of the parents in the chorus, expressing their wish that he would come home.
