Life Is a Grand… is the only full-length release from multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, composer Henry Badowski.

Daughter of South-American legend Violeta Parra, Isabel Parra learned to sing and play at an early age. "Music was a language fluently spoken at home", she says. In 1965, with the help of brother Angel Parra, she founded the very renowned "Peña de los Parra" - artistic center and "Art Lab" where started musical movement "la Nueva Cancion Chilena" (New Chilean Song). On a New Street might be the ne plus ultra of the group's post-1960s achievements. A "lost" album from the sweetest period of Thom Bell's storied career, the Bell side captures producer and vocalists at the peak of their powers. Gourdine's recognizably pinched vocal tones contrast with those of, say, Philippe Wynne of The Spinners or Russell Thompkins, Jr. of The Stylistics, but Bell instinctively knew how to surround that voice with a soft cushion of soulful accompaniment provided by MFSB. Throughout the five songs on "The Thom Bell Side" of On a New Street, Gourdine has ample chance to fly solo, with The Imperials contributing their impeccable harmonies at just the right moments.

EGO ON THE ROCKS was a late 70's project of keyboard player Detlev Schmidtchen and drummer Jürgen Rosenthal, two ELOY members who had left the band after the release of " Silent Cries and Mighty Echoes" to explore a bit more Morlockian musical avenues. They had originally planned their project as the first of a trilogy, but the album's poor commercial performance and a subsequent threat of financial ruin gave them a kick in the rocks which deflated their egos somewhat.

The Symphony No. 8 in G major, Op. 88, B. 163, is a symphony by Antonín Dvořák, composed in 1889 at Vysoká u Příbramě, Bohemia, on the occasion of his election to the Bohemian Academy of Science, Literature and Arts. Dvořák conducted the premiere in Prague on 2 February 1890. In contrast to other symphonies of both the composer and the period, the music is cheerful and optimistic. It was originally published as Symphony No. 4.

Looking ahead to 2028 and the 200th anniversary of the composer's death, the AlindeQuartet will annually release a disc of Schubert string quartets for the next eight years, alongside a specially commissioned work. Finding the ideal sound world for Schubert's quartets is by no means easy, yet the Alinde strikes a near-ideal balance between internal clarity and textural warmth, shonethrough by sparkling intonation.
