On her first jazz quartet recording, Aldana adds a new dimension to her sound, resulting in a transformative movement of expression and self-identity.

The new acoustic line-up features a dominant focus on strings and clarinets. This creates a whole new sound situation and puts a new twist on the way of working with the music. Rehearsals, research, compositional and structural work will take place in the fall of 2017. Touring, recording (for Rune Grammofon, of course) and festival activities for 2018 are the next phase of the plan, with a totally new way of working in a large setting with the usual hub of the Fire! trio as the force at the creative center of it all.

On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Hector Berlioz's death, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and its chief conductor Philippe Jordan dedicated a programmatic focus to the French composer in the 2018-19 season. In this context, in November 2018, Philippe Jordan presented the frequently performed Symphonie fantastique op. 14 in the Wiener Musikverein, her rarely heard sister work Lélio ou Le retour à la vie op. 14b. The acclaimed concert experience now also appears as a live recording on the orchestra's own label of the orchestra. Soloists include not only tenor Cyrille Dubois and baritone Florian Sempey, but also the acclaimed French bass Jean-Philippe Lafonte as narrator and the Singverein led by Johannes Prinz.

It is the part the cello must interpret by assuming or acquiring a human nature. Dvořák transforms it into a warm lyrical baritone. He repopulates it with harmonics and nuances.
