Delos is thrilled to embark on a new journey with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and its Music Director Stéphane Denève. What better statement of intent for their first album on the label than releasing the world premiere recording of three works by native St. Louisan and Pulitzer Prize- and GRAMMY®-winning composer Kevin Puts? Dedicated to the SLSO and Stéphane, Concerto for Orchestra was written in response to the horrific school shooting that occurred in Uvalde in 2022. Silent Night Elegy is drawn from Kevin's acclaimed opera, which adapts Joyeux Noël, the award-winning film that tells the story of the spontaneous ceasefires along the Western Front on the first Christmas Eve of World War I.

Matilda Lloyd and Richard Gowers, recital partners for more than a decade, present a diverse programme of music for trumpet and organ. Transcriptions of baroque works are interspersed with four world-premire recordings of new works by British composers commissioned for the album.

"Dance Along" with Basie is an album released by pianist, composer and bandleader Count Basie featuring tracks recorded in late 1959 and originally released on the Roulette label.

"Inverted: The Music of Phil Broadhurst" is a tribute to the late New Zealand jazz pianist Phil Broadhurst with new arrangements of his original compositions and an accompanying album.

One might wonder why Frank Talbot called this album "Mundane Life Updates", especially since the music is far from banal!

"Basie One More Time" (subtitled Music from the Pen of Quincy Jones) is an album by pianist and bandleader Count Basie performing the compositions and arrangements of Quincy Jones recorded in late 1958 and early 1959 and originally released on the Roulette label.

There is no record of a specific "Joe Bonamassa - B.B. King's Blues Summit 100, Vol. 1" album or collection.

The Statue of Liberty is so hyperreal, so over-replicated in insurance ads and postage stamps and on the Vegas strip, that if you ever happen to be looking at her in real life, you won't see her at all.

These contemplations and improvisations were partly inspired by an instrument called an Ondomo — a recreation by Naoyuki Omo of the Ondes Martenot, one of the earliest electronic instruments developed in 1928 by Maurice Martenot (Ondes Martenot translated as ‘Martenot’s waves’). For this set of recordings, Alan gravitated back to his primary instrument, the piano, for many of the improvisations, allowing the various background colours to inform the process. The result is an album of great beauty and invention, rich in sonorous textures and equally rich emotional resonances.

"VARI" is Varijashree Venugopal’s first original music album, produced by Grammy Award-winning artist Michael League, acclaimed for his work with Snarky Puppy. This album is an enriching exploration of the global soundscape, where Indian classical music meets a diverse array of musical traditions, all brought together by the rhythmic tapestry of Indian percussion. It is a sonic journey with a singular mission: to unite cultures through the universal language of music.

Directed by Desmond Earley, the Choral Scholars of University College Dublin are internationally renowned for stunning performances, artistic collaborations, recordings, video productions, and innovative commissioning projects. Here they return with a digital EP of Irish and Scottish Gaelic songs in time to celebrate St Patrick’s Day on 17 March 2024. Three of the tracks are new arrangements by Desmond Earley, with translations by Brian Ó hUigínn and they are accompanied by the newly formed Solstice Ensemble, who will join them on their next album, due out on Signum Records in September 2024.

Mosaic Voices are the Resident Choir at the New West End Synagogue, in London. The synagogue, designed in 1877 by the Scottish architect George Audsley, is a masterpiece of Victorian architecture, known for its beautiful choral acoustic. A great deal of the material on this album is therefore music sung by Mosaic Voices, in Hebrew, during religious services and festivals, of which this music forms a functional element.

CRD Records releases violinist Maya Magub's album Canons on 7 October 2022. The album comprises Telemann's Six Canonic Sonatas and Mozart's Canons and Puzzle Canons. Maya is joined on the album by violinists Ben Jacobson, Marianne Thorsen and Jonathan Morton, with Jonathan Moerschel, viola and Richard Harwood, 'cello (CRD 3542).

In her recording for PASSACAILLE, the Italian harpsichordist and organist Federica Bianchi deals with the development of music for keyboard instruments from the beginning of the 15th century to the beginning of the Baroque period.
