Best known for his work in Jr. Thomas & The Volcanos, Minnesota singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Jr. Thomas returns with a collaboration that pays homage to the golden era of soul music.

Featuring guest appearances by harpist Brandee Younger and flutist Camille Thurman and recorded at San Francisco’s Women’s Audio Mission.

German Brass celebrates the 200th birthday of Johann Strauss with a brand-new album. It contains works by the composer and also works by some of his contemporary companions, such as Chopin, Brahms and Kreisler, that have been arranged as a programmatic "bouquet" aroung Johann Strauss. Matthias Höfs did the arrangements for the ensemble, presenting a lively new brass sound to known titles from the second half of the 19th century.
