On the musical rhetoric of Joseph Haydn in his sonatas and variations: Joseph Haydn’s sonatas and variations for keyboard instruments were long overshadowed by Mozart’s piano compositions. While they are now performed more frequently in concerts, the overwhelming richness of these compositions is still not nearly adequately appreciated by audiences. There are so many aspects to discover, such as cantabile qualities and a broad linguistic palette with rich articulation. Dynamic and agogic agility, wit and intellectual brilliance characterise Haydn’s music, thereby contributing to an extraordinarily incisive narrative style with oftentimes dizzying dialogues.

With its broad register and earthy timbre, the clarinet is a powerhouse of emotional expression. Fitting then, that composer Jenni Brandon chose the instrument to represent the raw beauty of the Pacific Coast. Dollar A Day is the new album from GRAMMY Award-nominated artist Charley Crockett. The second installment in The Sagebrush Trilogy, the album sees Charley reunite with co-producer Shooter Jennings for 15 electrifying new recordings. The album marks a reset - a quiet revolution. After years of relentless international touring, Levy felt an urgent need for community and renewal. Gruelling road schedules with very little support left her wondering: who am I really doing all this for? The system was uncaring and broken, and so it was that she came to envision a new healthy and healing mode of musical genesis. 'For me, that looked like resting, extending my creative reach, going back to school, studying painting and poetry,' she explains. 'Taking a step away from music as guided by industry expectations. Simplifying things. Getting a job, starting to teach. Engaging with the process rather than the product.' This need for a more deliberate creative renewal was rejected by her existing systems of support, so she began the search for an alternative.

The six sonatas for violin and obbligato harpsichord BWV 1014–1019 by Johann Sebastian Bach are works in trio sonata form, with the two upper parts in the harpsichord and violin over a bass line supplied by the harpsichord and an optional viola da gamba. Unlike baroque sonatas for solo instrument and continuo, where the realisation of the figured bass was left to the discretion of the performer, the keyboard part in the sonatas was almost entirely specified by Bach. They were probably mostly composed during Bach's final years in Cöthen between 1720 and 1723, before he moved to Leipzig. The extant sources for the collection span the whole of Bach's period in Leipzig, during which time he continued to make changes to the score.

Jonathan Moritz is a saxophonist and composer whose trio Secret Tempo returns with Love You to Death, their second album marking over two decades of collaboration between Moritz (tenor saxophone), Shayna Dulberger (double bass), and Mike Pride (drums). Rooted deeply in jazz tradition yet boldly exploratory, the trio continues its profound investigation into spontaneous interplay, emotional expression, and the delicate balance between composition and improvisation.

A.C.T., a progressive rock/pop band from Sweden, was formed in 1995. A.C.T. attracted attention with their outstanding performance technique, meticulous compositional beauty, and sound with a theatrical worldview, and made their album debut in 1999 with "Today's Report". Since then, their one-of-a-kind style, which skillfully blends theatrical elements with a pop sensibility, has garnered support not only from the progressive rock community but also from a wide range of listeners. In recent years, they have started to release EPs in four parts, aiming to revitalize their activities by releasing works in a shorter span of time compared to the production of conventional albums. In 2023, A.C.T. released its third mini-album, "Falling," which was highly acclaimed by fans.

The Symphony No. 5 in C minor, Op. 67, also known as the Fate Symphony, is a symphony composed by Ludwig van Beethoven between 1804 and 1808. It is one of the best-known compositions in classical music and one of the most frequently played symphonies, and it is widely considered one of the cornerstones of western music. First performed in Vienna's Theater an der Wien in 1808, the work achieved its prodigious reputation soon afterward. E. T. A. Hoffmann described the symphony as "one of the most important works of the time". As is typical of symphonies during the Classical period, Beethoven's Fifth Symphony has four movements.
