Soul Jazz Records’ new Miami Sound 2 is a superlative collection of 70s soul, funk, disco and boogie featuring tracks from legendary artists such as Betty Wright, Timmy Thomas, Gwen McRae, Milton Wright, T-Connection and many more, all released on the mighty TK Records musical empire based in Miami, Florida.

Swiss composer and saxophonist Sarah Chaksad has earned international acclaim for her innovative large ensembles and emotionally rich compositions. Known for her detailed arrangements blending composed and improvised elements, Chaksad’s music integrates jazz with global influences, including traditional Persian music, inspired by her Iranian heritage. Her new Large Ensemble, featuring 13 musicians from diverse backgrounds, showcases a flexible and dynamic approach to jazz, allowing space for personal expression and improvisation.
