Das Ensemble Barocco di Napoli und das Abchordis Ensemble präsentieren unter der Leitung von Tommaso Rossi Weltersteinspielungen von farbenprächtigen und wohlklingenden Werken für Holzblasinstrumente aus dem Neapel des 18. Jahrhunderts. Das Album zeigt, dass Neapel damals nicht nur eine Sänger-Hochburg, sondern seit 1570 auch Heimat einer leistungsstarken Holzbläserschule war, für welche die besten Komponisten der damaligen Zeit schrieben. Das Streichquartettspiel - so erklären alle vier Mitglieder des Noga Quartets - ist ihnen eine Herzensangelegenheit; Avishai Chameides träumte schon als Kind davon, Bratsche im Streichquartett zu spielen, aber erst als sein künstlerischer Werdegang ihn von dem Konservatorium in Givataim und Tel Aviv sowie in Mailand nach Berlin geführt hatte, lernte er die drei französischen Musiker Simon Roturier, Lauriane Vernhes und Joan Bachs kennen, mit denen er vor zehn Jahren das Noga Quartet gründete.

On this album the Sinfonieorchester Basel under Ivor Bolton presents together with the soprano Sophia Burgos, the baritone Benjamin Appl and the clarinettist Daniel Ottensamer a selection of Berio's transcriptions for orchestra

So, It's Like That is the second studio album by American blues-rock musician Joe Bonamassa. Recorded largely at Harddrive Recording Studio in North Hollywood, California and Blue Iron Gate Studio in Santa Monica, California, it was primarily produced by Clif Magness, with additional production by Dave Bassett, Matt Chiaravalle and Richard Feldman. The album was released on August 13, 2002 by Medalist Entertainment and topped the US Billboard Top Blues Albums chart.

The ambitious Swiss electronic duo Yello comprised vocalist/conceptualist Dieter Meier – a millionaire industrialist, professional gambler, and member of Switzerland's national golf team – and composer/arranger Boris Blank. Meier, a former solo artist who also spent time with the group Fresh Colour, began collaborating with Blank in 1979, and the duo bowed with the single "I.T. Splash."

Ballet Slippers is a live release marking the 10 year anniversary of Animal Collective’s studio album Merriweather Post Pavilion. The release is culled from several shows from that album’s North American tour and sequenced to reflect a full concert experience, complete with song transitions and interludes.

In January 2019 I found myself stuck in a Chicago hotel room during the Polar Vortex. I was performing there with my duo Radnor & Lee over a few nights when temperatures dropped, leaving me unable to do much outside my hotel room for 4 days. Chicago is a city that holds a special history for me, and I found myself spending a good chunk of time staring out my hotel window, reflecting on my first trip there in 1993 to record my debut solo album andpaw Would at Idful Studios with Brad Wood. But more than the details of that trip, I was struck by how vividly memories started flooding back to me of being a 15 year old mega fan of music, and in particular, indie rock.
