Le printemps 1943. La bataille de Stalingrad venait de se terminer par la défaite des forces allemandes. Apparurent alors à Munich des affiches où on lisait : « Ont été condamnés à mort pour haute trahison : Christoph Probst, 24 ans, Hans Scholl, 25 ans, Sophie Scholl, 22 ans.
