Yoga for Back Health is a short, sweet, and challenging course designed for anyone who wants to improve their posture, joint stability, stamina, and overall strength. You can be a beginner to yoga or just looking for a new approach that has your back in mind.

Have you noticed yourself slouching or having neck and low back pain?

Do you want to prevent future injury and spinal degeneration?

Are you sitting a lot and feeling sluggish and out of shape?

Are you searching for a safe and effective way to build strength and confidence?

Are you a teacher seeking continuing education through the Yoga Alliance?

Well I’ve got your back!

In general, yoga tends to have a lot of forward flexion (rounding) of the spine, which has it’s benefits for building flexibility but not necessarily strength. In this course you will learn poses that only focus on spinal extension which will in turn build strength in these postural muscles. After a series of videos that will teach you the safe and effective way to do each pose we will move into a full 60 minute class where we stream it all together.

This is a flow style (Vinyasa) yoga class, meaning we will be moving in and out of poses and connecting the transitions with our breath. Although the pace is not fast (more of a slow flow) we do keep the momentum going and only hold poses for 3-5 breaths. This class is challenging, safe, and effective. You can expect to see improvement in your posture, stamina, and overall wellbeing.

I have made this course easy to navigate and quick to finish with simple instructional videos followed by one full 60 minute class that you can repeat as many times as you like!

This course includes several instructional videos that breakdown:

The Breath

The Flow (Sun Salutation sequence)

Standing Poses

Seated Poses

Prone Poses (on belly)

Supine Poses (on back)

Shavasana

Full 60 min class Yoga for Back Health

It is always good to consult with your physician before starting a new exercise program. Yoga for Back Health is not designed to treat any condition but works great as a supplement for boosting your overall health and well-being.

If you love the class and want to continue studying with me you have the option of joining my weekly online classes to continue the journey. If you buy this course you will receive your first class for FREE!
