Is Richie Beirach the best kept secret of piano jazz? Together wirth Dave Holland and Jack DeJohnette he played in the band of Stan Getz. He worked with Chet Baker and John Abercromby. And he shares a very special musical friendship with Dave Liebman.

Until the age of 13 Richie was strictly devoted to classical music but then „Billy Boy“ from Miles Davis` album „Milestones“ changed his life and he became addicted to Jazz. The passion for Jazz together with his classical training turned his virtuoso style into an autonomous musical language, fresh and sensual, vibrating with energy and incredible deep meaning.
