Acclaimed pianist Asher Ian Armstrong presents an album of rarely-heard “outcast” works written by women between the two World Wars. Includes music by Henriëtte Bosmans, Jean Coulthard, Varvara Gaigerova, Katherine Parker, Ilse Fromm-Michaels, and Gayane Chebotaryan.

Alex G's Headlights is his tenth full-length album and his first with RCA Records. The album was written by Giannascoli and recorded across various locations in Philadelphia and New York. It was co-produced alongside his longtime collaborator Jacob Portrait. Headlights is a gorgeous collection of surreal storytelling over twelve new songs. Giannascoli delves further into the reality-bending terrain that has made him one of the twenty-first century's most celebrated and influential musical architects.

Recorded in the spring of ’85, this fired-up blast of West Coast blues finds former Canned Heat guitarist Buddy Reed stepping into the spotlight with gritty guitar work, feverish vocals, and a band that hits like a live wire. Tough, loose, and bursting with juke-joint energy, this session is the sound of a blues lifer finally calling his shot, and playing like everything’s on the line.

A great little set – warmly spiritual soul jazz, recorded as one of the few mid 70s releases to grace the Catalyst label. Pianist Mark Levine leads the set – and he's got a gentle west coast touch that fits perfectly with the album's horn work by Tom Harrell, Mike Morris, and Ray Pizzi. The set's got some nicely grooving numbers that spiral out with a bit of modal, a bit of Latin rhythms, and a free dancing soul that will keep you coming back to this one more than you'd expect! Titles include "Ixtlan", "Up Til Now", "Sweet Pea", and "Something Old, Something Blue".

Jess Gillam is a phenomenal young saxophonist who at 27 has already made her mark in the world of classical music. When she was 11, she started what is now an annual music festival in Ulverston, a small town in the Cumbria region of England, where her parents run a traditional English tea room and grocery shop. At 17, she became the first saxophonist in history to make the finals of the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition. The EP PRISM, Vol. 2 includes arrangements of works by Debussy, Scarlatti, Boulanger, Telemann, and Liszt, performed by Jess Gillam and the Jess Gillam Ensemble.

Julieth received the 2018 RCM President’s Award presented by RCM President, HM King Charles III. She won the Dame Kiri Te Kanawa Audience Prize in the 2023 Cardiff Singer of the World competition and was recently named one of Opera Wire’s Top Ten Rising Stars. João was awarded best collaborative pianist prizes at the Concours Musical International de Montréal in Canada and the Maureen Lehane Vocal Awards at Wigmore Hall, and he has been nominated for the Gerald Moore Award.
