"Two Roots," the album by the duo Atua Blues, marks the musical encounter between Grant Haua, the Maori blues phenomenon, and David Noël, alias Feelgood Dave, lead singer of the SuperSoul Brothers. It was through Dixiefrog Records, their shared label, that these two unique artists first crossed paths in 2022, when Grant invited David to lay his deep, soulful voice on “Please,” the first single from “Karu,” the album by singer Delayne produced by Grant Haua. What was meant to be a simple one-off soon turned into a perfect artistic connection and, eventually, an unshakable friendship one that distance oddly enough only managed to strengthen, confirming that blues truly knows no borders.

With the recording of all of Debussy's works in three volumes for piano duo, the Genova & Dimitrov Piano Duo is now appearing on the Oehms label. The programme includes both well-known and lesser-known works, some of which are versions of orchestral works such as the famous La Mer. The recording was made in co-operation with WDR Broadcast.

Jonah Jones was a jazz trumpeter who created concise versions of jazz and swing and jazz standards that appealed to a mass audience. In the jazz community, he is known for his work with Stuff Smith. He was sometimes referred to as "King Louis II", a reference to Louis Armstrong. Jones started playing alto saxophone at the age of 12 in the Booker T. Washington Community Center band in Louisville, Kentucky, before quickly transitioning to trumpet, where he excelled.

The second album from the Choir of St John’s with their new music director - Christopher Gray.
