    Ren Laflamme is a sought-after sound engineer in the industry. In the world of high-end HiFi, he has earned a good reputation with his instinct, with which he combines audio components for the best possible sound. Companies such as Nagra Audio and Kronos Audio hire him as a representative and let him advise them. Together with Andr Perry, founder of the famous "Le Studio" in Qubec, he runs the label 2xHD and releases audiophile remasters with the help of sophisticated technology.
    The "70th Year Anniversary Collection Album" was mastered on Nagra devices in 2xHD and cut from the analog master tapes at Bernie Grundman Mastering. The four pages contain tracks by Bill Evans, Louis Armstrong, Monty Alexander and Buddy Tate as well as some tracks recorded with the legendary Nagra IV-S tape machine.
