Sean O'Bryan Smith continues to be one of the most in demand entitiies in the music industry. As a solo artist, he is a top-selling contemporary jazz artists that has received critical acclaim all across the globe. This started with the successful 2008 solo album Tapestry which was heralded as "soulful, melodic and unpretentious" by Bass Player magazine and this trend has been recreated with his 2012 release "Reflection" which has been touted as "…not to be missed!" by Smoothjazz.com and "…an inspirational and truly amazing musical journey straight from the heart" by Bass Frontiers magazine. These are just a few of the reasons Sean O'Bryan Smith continues to inspire on a global scale.

In addition to his bustling solo career, Smith is a guest artist with musicians of the highest caliber. Recent collaborations include works with Grammy nominated artists like Joe Taylor and Sidney Barnes as well as some of Europe's highest acclaimed artists including Matzumi, Hans Peter Salentin and Australian artist Hellmut Wolf. He's been a featured performer on recent releases by jazz artists Rod Williams and Atma Anur as well as being a touring member of the jazz supergroup Polcat along with Grammy winner Frank Catalano, guitar icon Chris Poland and drummer Jim Gifford. He's even been included in recent compilation albums with jazz icons Walter Beasley, Najee, George Duke and Grammy winner Skip Martin.

Sean's prowess on bass was forged with some of the legends in the industry. Just a sampling of the artists that have relied on Sean's contribution either in the studio or on the stage are Larry Carlton, Esperanza Spalding, Randy Brecker, Chuck Loeb, Gerald Albright, Keith Urban, Kenny Rogers, Lady Antebellum, Wynonna, Darius Rucker, Billy Ray Cyrus and the list goes on and on. This list also continues to grow as Sean is constantly involved with producing and recording with artists all across the globe as well as composing for TV, Film and apps for such clients as FOX, CBS, ABC, NBC, GAC, BET, MeeGenius and more.

Perhaps the culmination of Sean's work is his dedication to sharing and branching out with his gift. A devout Christian, Sean leads his own gospel jazz ministry and travels all across the US and abroad sharing his unique message and form of worship musician. He is also a tireless educator appearing at clinics as well as writing for a number of national US publications including VIntage Guitar magazine, Bass Player magazine, Christian Musician and more.
