On "InTime Brubeck", the Duo Fines Lames explores the musical world of Dave Brubeck through rereadings of selected works or personal compositions inspired by the world of this essential West Coast jazz figure that was the pianist. The blades of Florent Sepchat's chromatic accordion and those of Renaud Detruit's vibraphone and marimba interact in constant interaction. Between faithful homage and inventive creation, their exchanges of a sensitive modernity create new climates.

With their second album, "InTime Brubeck" (La Saugrenu /L'autre Distribution) to be released on April 02, 2021, the Duo Fines Lames offers a contemporary and singular reinterpretation of the different facets of the musical world of Dave Brubeck, whose 100 years of birth were celebrated in 2020.

Recorded that same year, after the first lockdown, "InTime Brubeck" is a singular tribute to Dave Brubeck, the pianist and composer who introduced new metrics to jazz and created a unique style at the crossroads of European classical music and jazz.
