Started playing the double bass in 1974. Classical studies at the Conservatoire de Lausanne: from 1975 to 1985 in the class of Francis Marcellin (1st prize for virtuosity with congratulations), and from 1990 to 1991 in the class of Yoan Goilav (concert license). Solo double bass with the Orchestre des Rencontres Musicales (Lausanne), and since 1988 with the Geneva Chamber Orchestra.

Substitutions to the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande and to the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne. Concerts with the Sinfonietta of Lausanne, the Ensemble Contrechamps and the Ensemble Vocal et Instrumen­tal de Lausanne. Guest soloist with the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra (Divertimento Concertante by Nino Rota) and the Orchestre des Rencontres Musicales (Episodie by Jost Meier).
