Jazz composer and vocalist Natalie Dietz has made a strong impression on the Australian and international jazz scene impressing both audiences and critics with her ethereal vocal tone and original approach to songwriting. A graduate of the jazz vocal program at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Natalie then left for the USA to study at New England Conservatory where she worked with some of today’s most forward-thinking contemporary jazz artists including Donny McCaslin, Jason Moran, and Dave Holland. She has performed extensive jazz club residencies around Manhattan.

She now brings the first full expression of her artistry through Casualty- a nuanced collection of original music and the first music release since a 4-track promotional EP recorded with USA artists Aaron Parks, Joshua Crumbly, Justin Brown, and Mike Moreno. The release was awarded an ASCAP national young jazz composer’s award presented at New York’s Lincoln Center.
