    "I myself describe the music of my trio as "Cinematic Jazz". The latter is the impetus for spontaneous creativity, rhythmic innovation and energetic interaction between the musicians. The cinematic, on the other hand, is found in the reference back to classical or impressionist composer: inside but also in the programmatic titles behind the pieces. In my compositions, the two worlds of film music and jazz improvisation are to be united in an expressive, original sound language.
