David Miilmann Group consists of five young musicians, each of whom has his own personal expression. Together they have created a distinctive soundscape, where sangbar slide guitar exchanges ideas with a live rhythm group.
The group has played a part in each other for the last 2 years, which has resulted in an organic interaction between the young but capable musicians.
The music from the EP jumps out of the dogmas of modal music and moves around in a universe that carries elements of jazz, blues, funk and Brazilian music.
It's heroes like John Coltrane, Derek Trucks and Milton Nascimento the music draws humble inspiration from.
The band recorded their first EP, Waiting for Myself, in the color Mill and will play this music for the concert. After the concert, a reception will be held.
