The Cymes Trio album was created out of love for klezmer music. One of its most interesting manifestations is the music that accompanied wedding ceremonies. It can sparkle with different colors, sounds and tempos: from lyrical, calm, also intimate, to fast, lively, spinning melodies. It is not a coincidence that we are talking about the past, because the collection of songs included on the Cymes Trio album are compositions that resounded at Jewish weddings in the early 20th century. Klezmer music is a conglomerate of styles, with influences from many regions and cultures. No wonder that while listening you will be able to move to the Balkans, Greece or even Turkey. The three musicians forming the Cymes Trio recorded these compositions in their own arrangements, which are their own interpretation of this repertoire captivating with its specific melodics and atmosphere.
