The legal effects of termination are substantial. After termination, a natural parent's custodial rights are completely abolished. The order of the court terminating parental rights divests the natural parent of all legal rights, privileges, and obligations with respect to the child. Because this order of the court is so FINAL, extreme care must be taken, as a matter of law, by all of the parties to the relinquishment; the parent or parents, the child, the government agency involved in the case, and the court system overseeing the case.
This is the most-complete volume of information ever offered on the subject of RELINQUISHMENT.
