    An excellent blend of the history of US light cruisers, development of each class and what makes one different from the other.
    The B&W photos help show the gun positions, the lines of each class and there are two pages of color plates showing the camoflague schemes used during the war. Plenty of data and statistics, line drawings that show the planes, different weapons used (gun mounts from 20mm all the way up to 8" cannon).
    A really great book for modelers and those who want to get an introduction of US cruisers that were built and used to great effect in WW2.
