Description
There are a lot of reasons people struggle to find and maintain a healthy relationship with food. Mostly it's because we aren't taught to see and understand food for what it is. Diets tell us not to eat this or that, but don't give us the big picture. and what happens when the diet is over? We eventually go back to our old ways. This course is for you if:
- You have been on and off diets over the years
- You struggle staying on a diet
- You want to feel better and stay healthy in a sustainable way
- You want to improve your digestion and gut health
By the end of this course, you will be able to demonstrate practices that improve digestion, energy, and mindfulness. These strategies have also been shown to help people lose unwanted weight and keep it off.
This course will help you navigate nutrition through the lens of these 12 habits, which are broken up into three sections.
1. Change how you eat: Learn how to get results by changing how you eat, not what you eat.
2. Balance your meals: What veggies and macronutrients are, why they matter, and how to get them
3. Fine tune your nutrition: Tweak your nutrition by optimizing hydration (it's about more than just drinking water), getting lots of fiber, eating in harmony with nature, and how to know what needs to be fine tuned
Although the 12 habits are based on simple concepts, putting them into practice isn't always so easy; there are lots of reasons that most people aren't doing them. Many people are lucky to be consistent with three or four! But with the right framework and strategy, anyone can consistently practice all of these 12 habits to achieve their health and fitness goals. By the end of this course, you will have the tools you need to create your own roadmap for better nutrition.
The topics we'll cover:
