    Numeracy in the Workplace – Gaining confidence in working with numbers
    This course is designed to introduce you to important everyday numerical concepts. It is more important than ever to understand basic numeracy, and this course aims to take you through the basics one step at a time. In an economy where data has become the ‘new gold’, organisations need decision makers who can work with numbers. From negotiating in stores to making business decisions, be more confident than ever when working with numbers.
    This is a pre-requisite for interpreting data to make better decisions to improve business performance. Numeracy in the Workplace has been developed for managers who want to become more effective at using and interpreting numeric data.
    This course:
    Refreshes fundamental maths principles
    Will help you to use ratios and percentages to accurately describe reality
    Takes you through variables and equations.
    The course has six modules that cover:
    Working with numbers and distinguishing the different types of numbers
    Working with fractions and appreciation the importance of equivalent fractions, as well as the four rules of fractions
    Working with decimals including converting fractions into decimals and rounding numbers
