Description
LNG is the fastest-growing segment of the global oil & gas industry. And the role of trading within the LNG industry has expanded even faster, owing to increasing market size and liquidity.
This course provides foundational knowledge on core aspects of the commercial LNG value chain, from feed gas procurement to shipping, with an emphasis on pricing formulas, Sale & Purchase Agreements, and project netbacks.
Whilst this course is designed to work on a standalone basis, starting with a brief recap of LNG basics, a background of LNG and commodity market fundamentals will be useful. We lifted some introductory lessons from our LNG 101 course, however the two courses are complementary to each other.
The goal here is to provide you with solid foundational knowledge. The course will accelerate your journey into the world of LNG contracting and trading, enabling a steep learning curve as you move into more advanced topics. Please note that the course does not provide legal or investment advice.
Thus whether you work in industry or academia, whether you are an investor or a journalist, or a graduate at the start of his or her career - if you are looking for a broad yet efficient introduction into LNG Sales, Marketing and Trading, this course is for you.
