Assimil - La pratique de l'allemand is the old version of the Assimil German advanced level course, written by the Assimil founder himself, Alphonse Chérel. It has been replaced by Assimil - Perfectionnement Allemand, which is a totally new book, writen by another author.
Publication/print date is 1973, copyright date is 1969. It means 1973 is a re-print of the last 1969 revised edition. However this title was published long before (in the 1930s), and was often updated. So, the ideal would be to find an audio support dated from the 70's.
