Каталог Русских средневековых монет (1533-1617 гг.) / Catalogue of medieval coins of Russia (1533-1617 ad)

Настоящая публикация открывает серию каталогов по русским средневековым проволочным монетам, охватывающую период от правления царя Ивана IV Васильевича до царя Петра Алексеевича, в царствование которого был прекращен выпуск данных монет.
Целями изданий являются уточнение и обобщение литературных данных с добавлением, в ряде случаев собственных результатов, а также попытка создать для нумизматов-любителей удобные пособия при коллекционировании монет этого сложнейшего раздела отечественной нумизматики.
В основу каталогов положена монография доктора исторических наук А.С.МельниковоЙ "Русские монеты от Ивана Грозного до Петра Первого", из которой взята небольшая часть иллюстраций редких монетных штемпелей. В преобладающем большинстве случаев мы при меняли для получения точных изображений штемпелей специальный метод фотографирования монет с использованием волоконно-оптической пластинки.
This pubIication is the first опе in а serie of the catalogues of the russian medieval coins produced of the silver wire, which were issued from the reigh of the Tzar Ivan IV Vassiljevich to the reigh of the Tzar Pietr Alexievich, where the production of such coins was stopped.
The task of this edition is а mоге precise and generalized description of the existing data оп the subject with addition in some cases of the results of оur own investigations, and ап attempt to produce а comprehensive manual for amatenrs-collectors of coins of this veгy intricate section of the russian numismatics.
As the base of our catalogue we have used the monography of Dг. A.S. Melnikova "The russian coins from Ivan The TerribIe to Pietr Alexievich". From this book we have taken some illustrations of the гаге stempels. But in the overwhelming majority of the cases we have made the high quality images of the stemples, using the optical fiber-glas plate, as it was suggested bу 1. Tindo and Кleshchinov (Patent of S. U. NQ 1764023 "Method of producing the images of the reliefed objects").
