Description
This Course was put together by an African who struggled when getting started in Cybersecurity due to the lack of sufficient information and direction on getting started. You will learn all the basics of what Cybersecurity entails and also know how to get started in the field/career path.
If you are someone who doesn't have any computer science background or IT related background, you would most find this beginner course in cybersecurity very useful because of the way it was explained.
There are five different lectures and they are quite easy to follow. From the first to the fourth lecture, we looked at basic concepts in cybersecurity while the last one discussed navigating the career path and the right way to get started in a fairly new, popular and growing field such as cybersecurity.
I believe that anyone who decides to enrol for this course would appreciate the information shared here provided you are dedicated to learning.
This course could be taken by anyone in any country, i only shared my experience as a Nigerian that studied with lots of resources abroad from the US,UK and few of those resources were definitely helpful understanding the cybersecurity concepts but might not be enough to survive and beat the frustration that sets out for every beginner in Africa. Hence the reason i created this course.
Who this course is for:
Africans willing to get into the Cybersecurity Field
Someone who's confused on how to get started in Cybersecurity
