This is a book for the bassplayer who's looking to expand his or her playing into new styles of music. Dictionary of bass grooves covers all the mainstream styles from Latin to deathmetal. The songs are short but well written and enjoyable to play. The only minor complaint is the lack of backing tracks without bass to allow you to play along with the cd. But apart from this it's a great book with interesting pieces ranging from slow walking blues to fast chromatic funk!
